Commitment to Sustainability Governance
On August 20, 2024, the Company adopted the Sustainable Development Committee Charter and established the Sustainability Management Committee to integrate and monitor sustainability-related matters across the Group. The Committee promotes the implementation of sustainability initiatives in the Group’s operations, with the objective of gradually enhancing positive social and environmental impacts.
The Sustainability Management Committee, chaired by the General Manager and promoted by the Sustainability Governance Department, operates under the oversight of the Board of Directors. Based on the ESG framework, the Committee designates responsible units to identify and manage sustainability-related risks in accordance with the principle of materiality, and gathers stakeholder concerns as key inputs for business strategy formulation. The effectiveness of action plans and improvement measures is reviewed on a quarterly basis to reasonably ensure the achievement of sustainability objectives and to enhance stakeholder protection and information transparency.
Board Oversight of Sustainability
During the most recent fiscal year, the following sustainability-related matters were submitted to the Board of Directors for review. After examining the execution directions and implementation measures, the Board resolved that the progress of greenhouse gas inventory and verification should continue to be reported to the Board on a quarterly basis, while other ESG implementation plans are to be carried out by the respective responsible units in accordance with the approved plans.
